Do you think priests should be allowed to marry?

You know what distracted, i used to think that too, but noone knows the inside of a marriage. I judged a women, i thought it was horrible how she left her husband, he was so wonderful and she got an annulment and moved on he never did. Everyone judged her. It came out 30 years later he was gay, she carried that burden, never opened her mouth, for the sake of the children and took all the blame and never said a bad thing about him. Taught me one thing, never judge and keep your mouth shut. The priests know why, what may seem easy to you, isnt to the others. They know things others may never know. I trust the Church and will never judge another as long as i live.

I think you are so right. All is not always as it seems.

I hope you dont’ think that I am judging anyone… I said that “it seems to me…(etc)”…

In any case, i also trust the Church (more than ever)… However, i do not trust the individuals i n the Church (automatically)… whne it comes to tribunals. I dont’ know much about them… but I have heard tht at least one lay person is on the marriage tribunal that decides whether a marriage is valid or not…

Even some lay people are more “Catholic” than some priests i have known (or so it seems, judging from behavior)… so i am sure it happens that sometimes a “liberal” decision is made @ the tribunals…

No no i was speaking just for myself, it was I who was judgemental but like usual the Good Lord put me in my place. .
 
The Eastern Rites of the Catholic church permit priests to marry

Not accurate. The Eastern Churches allow married men to become deacons and priestrs, but if the wife dies, the clergyman cannot remarry.
