Why do you ignore my replies distracted?

Or are you too busy being distracted to see them?

She claims JESUS took her to HELL?😦

Her personal revelations are certainly NOT binding on the faithful, nevermind that she is not a catholic, even if she Was, it is not binding on the faithful.

What do you mean by “believing in the saints”?

I can believe in the communion of saints, and discount plenty of things saints say.👍

Lets not get all mixed up here.🙂
You say why don’t i answer your Posts. I just now found this one. Aside from that, your Posts seem somewhat… not to sound uncharitable… but “shallow” comes to mind - (just being honest). I mean, anyone can disregard something… disbelieve something. You don’t say what you believe. I don’t know what to believe about the accounts of Hell at that site. One story there is very anti-Catholic, or so it sounds to me. As stated elsewhere, it was about how Mary is up in Heaven crying her heart out because poeple “worship” her… shows pope in front of Mary statue… Well, you can’t argue w/ God (Jesus) not wanting us to see mary as (treat her as) some kind of savior but how many Catholics DO?? Maybe a few here and htere but not me and no other Catholic i am aware of:
anyway… I don’t know exactly where you are coming from…

Even if the number of 5 out of every 33,000 get into Heaven is correct, it is because of free will. It’s not like God is standing at the door of Heaven and saying only the first 5 can get into Heaven and all the rest must go to Hell. Just like it has been since the beginning of creation, it is all about freewill. We all make our own choice whether to follow God or our sinful nature. If we turn from God (or never follow Him in the first place) all blame rests squarely on our shoulders and nobody elses. God bless.

Amen. Well said. 🙂 I know that i am faced with choices every step of the way in life… and my choices, i realize, should all be sometihng God approves of… or at least doesn’t disapprove of… 😃

Sin destroys. All people know this because all people are born w/ a conscience… However, some people disregard this truth… and end up in Hell. Why is that so hard to believe? And since it is so hard to always stay on the right path, why is so hard to believe that so many just don’t bother to try anymore and end up separated from God? It is their own choice… much as we hate it… 😦

Shallow?

Refute them please.

go over them one by one and refute them please, if YOU CAN.

I read over this link and was not terrifyed in the least. Mildly surprised anyone would find it credible, but not terrifyed in the least.
You obviously don’t know Scripture… St. Matthew 18:23 St. Matthew 7:21 Rev. 21:27 St. John 14:15 St. Luke 13:22 St. Luke 18:18… etc.

And Hell is my favorite topic!

Lets go back a bit, read all the posts, and lets see if distracted can refute me?

Only God’s Absolute Truth is binding on everyrone… the sad thing is, many people who are in the Church don’t speak or live the truth…

But God promised that His Church would not fail against hte gates of Hell… (Her head, the Pope, will never, officially, teach error… ). 🙂

You know, when you think about it, it just may be possible that most people DO go to hell…
How many people do birth control…sex before marriage…self-gratification…almost everybody!, myself included.]

However, when I practiced birth control, I was not fully aware that it was against the Catholic Church, due to my ignorance.
Same with self-gratification…I was never told as a child it was a sin, and once I realized it was, I stopped.

Sex before marriage…I did it…no excuses there, I knew it was a sin, but I did it anyway. Now that I have repented, I can tell you that if my wife happens to pass on before I do, there will never again be fornication for me.

But my point is, almost everybody does these things…and had God not granted me the grace to have a chance to repent before I died, I would have gone there as well.

Wrong!

Ignorance is bliss for some. (think conditions for mortal sin now)

But you are correct, you were blessed with grace, by God, to lead you to truth! Welcome!

Thank you for that breath of fresh air. You are right, we are all guilty of these kinds of things. Some say (as to self-gratification) that we are just human and God knows we have those feelings… bascially that we can’t “help it”. Oh please. Everyone has a conscience that tells us when something is wrong… I did that as a child… never thought it was wrong b4-hand, but always, always felt guilty afterwards. An acquaintance of mine would just say “Catholic guilt” but i wasn’t all that Cahtolic then (cradle Catholic but we weren’t going to Church every Sunday at that time). I remember talking to God (even though was never taught to pray) and telling him i would never do it again… Of course, i failed because i am a weak human being, didn’t really know better. now i am older and i know better!! I don’t dare commit certain sins because they make me feel… (Long story short) VERY BAD!! Grace is lost and sometimes grace doesn’t so easily return   😦 … yet with prayer and penance and lots of Masses and time @ the Blessed Sacrament, one can get back on the road to Heaven…
Thanks so much… God bless.

i fail to see what there is to refute. You are entitled to your opinion… You are entitled to your choices… whatever they may be. God save you and all of us.

Yeah, thanks! I needed your blessing.
Why the rolled eyes, the sarcasm and contentious tone? Is there any virtue there?

Jesus said if He were raised on the third day He would draw ALL men to himself. Paul says ALL Israel would be saved. When Jesus is questioned by the apostles could anyone be saved, He would not answer, how many, or how few, but instead said with God ALL things are possible. In the promise He made to Peter the rock upon whom He would build His Church, He said the gates of hell would not prevail against her. Most people don’t read this for what it says. They think hell will attack the Church and not prevail. That may also be true, but in this particular saying of Jesus he refers to gates. What do gates do? They keep people in or out. It seems the Church will attack hell not vice versa, and tear down its gates. I could go on from Abraham sending his servant to find a wife for Isaac in Genesis to the widow of Nain in the things that are prefigured regarding gates, but it is not necessary. We do not know how many are saved, or who, other than the canonized saints. A case can be made for many and a case can be made for few. We do not know. What we do know is that we ALL deserve hell and without the Savior we are assured of it. The scriptures in their entirety are not clear. Some say few are saved and others say many. We do not know.

“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins * save us from the fires of hell *lead ALL souls to heaven * especially those most in need of your mercy”.

If you ask for a loaf would He give you a stone? If you are sinking in the waves and call out to be saved, will your God damn you, or reach out and lift you up?

Hi Distracted,

Again, you are doing what many people do - putting the blame on God for people not making it to Heaven. God gives everyone an equal chance to get to Heaven… Maybe those who really try are given a harder time (it seems…) but everyone gets an equal chance… If a person doesn’t make it, its his/her fault.

I would not dream of blaming God for anything. But out of an infinite number of possible worlds, he has chosen to create this one, where people would use their free will in such and such a way. I’ m just saying that it seems logical that He should choose one of the worlds where more people would choose salvation than not.

Not quite getting this… But anyway, God gives every human being many opportunities to accept Him… If a person fails to accept one opp, He sends another… then another and another… He sends people into that person’s life… he sends events… He does many, many things… If a person says NO to God once… it is so much easier to do it the 2nd time, even easier the 3rd time and so on… until t hat person has severed his or her ties with God virtually for good… As long as the person lives on the Earth, he or she can repent… Eve after that repentance, however, the person has to get cleaned up… No unclean thing will enter Heaven…
One either believes the Scriptures and the Church… or one does not… but whatever a person believes or does not believe, one thing is for sure:

 You don’t know, absolutely speaking, what is going to happen to you when you die…

In a sense, yes! It is perfect there and tainted Souls need not apply. That is why prayer during our short lives is sooo important, it conditions the Soul to be like the perfect Spirit. Sacrifice trains the Soul, that is why mortification and denial of carnal wants is sooo important.
** God Bless Us All!**

Wow - your words cut like a knife because at the Blessed Sacrament, i was pretty much told the same thing recently… that i wasn’t sacrificing enough… too used to certain comforts…

I got a very strong feeling that Jesus wnated me to FAST! Hmmm… there’s a four-letter word for you… But i am obeying!!

We Americans eat so often when we are not even hungry… and most of us don’t need 3 meals a day - not even close… !!
