Do you think there is football games in heaven? Do you think an angel would play football?
 
If you’ve seen the movie “Angels in the End Zone” then you know they do.

I agree: God would not want a game in heaven where there are only 11 minutes of actual play, and no real grass!

God would want soccer, in that it is the most Catholic game of all!

BTW Wayne Rooney says the rosary before each game.👍

I had a priest tell me that it’s actually ice hockey not soccer that is played in heaven.

Of course he was originally from Quebec City.

he must have been born with ice skates on because all Canadians are born with ice skates on. 😃

What? It’s not just kickball, it is really know around the world at “football” because the ball is really moved around with the foot not the hand. Even our Holy Father is a fan!

I played in school and it was great except for maybe the possible brain injuries…who knows? :confused:

Aquinas said we’ll have 4 qualities in our glorified bodies…someone who didn’t play football remind me what they all are please…one is agility, two is impassiblity,…well, anyways, we can think to be in a place and be there instantly, that will make the game definitely different in any case.

I can live without it…It’s ok, but I really could use more of God right now, please.

For myself, I could definitely live without it. Football probably would be my version of hell rather than heaven! I used to live in Buffalo, and every year, we had the “football widows”, whose husbands were basically “dead” to them for the duration of the season!

I´ve left places once it became clear all we´d be doing would be watching a game I couldn´t relate to. I have watched it and thought, “Who cares?!”

If there is football in heaven, that´d be fine, just as long as I won´t be expected to watch it! Will it be there? I guess so,…if God has a sense of humor!
