Thanks. I enjoy reading your posts. Good to see good Catholics in the sunshine state.

Here are the Cannons from the Council of Trent (what I was quoting earlier);
THIRTEENTH SESSION, CANONS ON THE MOST HOLY SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST: “If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist are contained truly, really and substantially the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently the whole Christ, but says that He is in it only as in a sign, or figure or force, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA” (Canons on the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, Canon 1).

THIRTEENTH SESSION, CANONS ON THE MOST HOLY SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST: “If anyone says that Christ received in the Eucharist is received spiritually only and not also sacramentally and really, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA” (Canons on the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, Canon 8

With all the bickering that goes back in forth I hope all TLM’s and NO see that this is what the Catholic Church is all about, this is the focus.

I will say “yes” once I get converted!!! 😃

blessings,
NICOLE

Without the least shadow of doubt…with all my mind, heart and soul.

I believe 😃 in the Real Presence but I don’t understand it! I pray for a stronger faith :gopray2: everyday. Does anyone else feel this way?

That is faith… believeing even when you don’t understand… You are doing good 🙂

"A Protestant sister (in Christ) onced asked me ’ *do you really believe that you partake of the full Lord at Holy Communion?’’ *& I said ’ Yes, as a Roman Catholic I trully believe that I partake of the full Lord at Holy Communion’, she said ’ if I believed that I’D BE CRAWLING ON MY HANDS & KNEES EVERYDAY TO PARTAKE OF THAT PRECIOUS PRESENCE" - Fr. John Bertolucci

I believe 100% in the true presence of Christ in Holy Communion. John 6 - “If you do not eat of the flesh of the Son of man & drink his blood you have no life in you”.

FYI: John 6:66 - “It was at this time that many of his followers left him & returned to their former way of life” - the first Protestants. 😦

ABSOLUTELY YES!! I am so filled with awe EVERY MASS, totally amazed as I realize that I, the person I was/am, has been afforded such Love and Forgiveness. I don’t care where I am at, traveling, in the field, it doesn’t matter I can’t imagine not attending Mass as often as I can. I need my Blessed Lord’s Presence in my life as surely as I need air.

YES!

One day a few weeks ago at Mass, I was walking up to receive Our Lord and I had this urge to take my shoes off and and kneel before Him, as Moses did with the burning bush. I do believe!

I used to spend hours praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament in our side chapel in our parish, most of the time I was all alone so I would talk my guitar & sing to Jesus. I never took of my shoes though…afraid I’d pass out from the smell. 😛

There must be a very fine line between this and the regular practice of cannibalism and I have been searching for that line since my first communion.

After being sent to investigate those christians, A pagan statesman by the name of Pliny the Younger ( 62 -113 A.D.) explained to his

The Catholic acts of Infant Baptism and partaking of the Eucharist.

i absolutely believe He is there. and i’ve always said, the reason most ppl fall away from the Church is because they lack faith in the Real Presence.

I know for a fact Pliny never said this. He was actually rather sympathetic to the Christians, insofar as he admitted that their activities were harmless. He persecuted them anyway . . .

“Lord I believe, help me in my disbelief”

I believe in the Real Presense that the Lord fellowships with us with His Body and Blood and Life through the Bread and the Wine
