If one believes Our Lady when she appeared at Pontevedra, yes. That’s what First Saturday devotion is all about – reparation for blasphemies against the Blessed Virgin and her Son.
Thank you for what you said,I hope that others will pray, for those that Blasphemy against Our Lady.for it happens daily .Blessed Mother have Mercy on us.AMEN

I rarely hear blasphemy against Our Lady. I mostly hear blasphemy against God Himself.

Um, we do not respond “have mercy on us” to any invocations to our Lady. It’s always “pray for us”. The response “Have mercy on us” is limited only to invocations to God.

I’m curious, can one actually blaspheme Our Lady? I mean, doesn’t that elevate her to the level of a deity if we consider offenses against her to be blasphemy?

This is an honest question, since in the two years since I swam the Tiber I’ve never heard the word “blasphemy” in the same sentence with the Blessed Virgin.

It is possible. Blasphemy is also extended to language against “the Church, the saints and sacred things” (CCC 2148).

That,s because you don,t read the magazine( Crusade) which in the May to June 2016, they speak about it,and show a member of Satan,s member pour,s blood over a Statue,of Our Lady which is Blasphemy .

I don’t need to read a magazine to answer the question using an authortitative Church document.

CCC 2148 defines blasphemy, and yes, what you describe counts.
