Just under two weeks ago I woke up in the middle of the night in major pain. After going to the ER it turned out I had a kidney stone. Well a week later it gets blasted to dust thanks to a very cool, non-invasive procedure. Modern medicine is truly a great thing. The doctors that were there as well as all the other staff made the experience as pain free as possible. Just wanted to share this positive story.

Great outcome. My wife managed to break her ankle Sunday during a snow storm lasting all of 10 minutes…they put a metal plate in it today and the prognosis is full recovery. Doctors are the greatest!

My wife is known as Princess fall down go boom!

I’m so glad to hear this!

I hope that you are feeling better, and that you don’t have any more kidney stones. I have had them too, and I know what that pain is like.

I wish you the best of everything, moving forward! 🙂

Please, if you have a good experience with your doctor, tell them! My husband is a doctor and today has been one of his worst days. Not going into details because they aren’t necessary to my point, but doctors need to hear words of encouragement from their patients every so often. So, if you’re getting good care and are happy with your doctor, be sure to let him/her know! 🙂

OK this is a little wild, but this morning I was feeling extreme pain in my lower back with no apparent cause, my private doctor was leery about waiting, so reccommended I go to the ER (basically, across the street) gotta love small town America! I thought I was having an appendicitis, turned out…wait for it…my first kidney stone (I shall call him George!)

Thanking doctors is a really good idea, but also thank the ER nurses, techs, aides, and all the others. Without their help, the doc just twiddles his thumbs. Say what you want, I really appreciate and am in awe of our medical system here in ‘da Burg!’

Walked in thinking I was gonna be in serious straights, now l’m waiting for them to write up my prescriptions!

From the CAF perspective, I believe God just fully reinforced that he’s got my back and is always lookin out for my wife and Me!
