Does a Five Fold Scapular need to have a red cord?

Hello all,
I have recently purchased 4 five fold scapulars from Autom.com and received them in the mail today, only to realize the cord was brown instead of the red required for the red scapular. Is this okay? Could I just take off the red scapular and wear the others? Or should I ask complain and buy one from another website?
