Does an unborn child receive the Lord when a pregnant woman receives Communion?

I’ve heard conflicting arguments on this one. But I’d like to believe that, when I eventually become pregnant, my unborn child will be able to receive the special graces that come to us through receiving the physical presence of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Could someone please clarify this for me?

So far as I know, this isn’t a situation the Church has ruled upon. My guess though is that an unborn child does not receive Communion when his mother does. Baptism is the gateway to the other sacraments and a child must first be baptized before he can receive Communion. While the Lord certainly loves the unborn child, the graces of Communion probably are received by the pregnant woman alone.
