does any one here know anything about Zoroastrianism?

I have a friend that is questioning her faith after reading about the is ancient religion. She say it has many similarities to Catholism. I did find some info on the web but was hoping someone who is more educated about these things than I could help me out.
 
I was a religious studies major in college. You can PM me with questions if you would like or post them here on the public forums. I am no expert but can answer many questions about the faith. There are some striking similarities between Zoroastrianism and Catholicism, but also many district differences.

I am an Ahmadi peaceful Muslims. We believe that Zoroaster was a MessengerProphet of GodAllahYHWH as were Buddha, Krishna, Socrates, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, etc. They all were NaturalGuides and role models for the physical, moral and spiritual states of the humans.

I love all divine guided persons.
