Does anyone else find this disturbing?

I have never seen anything like that before.

Is that the sort of thing that goes on in those mega churches?

I have heard they are long on showmanship and short on substance, but have never been to one.

Of course, those I speak with who attend a local mega church say we are too cerebral and lacking emotional impact.

So, I guess I can’t really cast dispersions.

Actually, it’s very different. Having grown up in the South and gone to countless tent revivals, I never saw anything like this, except in the movies.

Hinn has been exposed and denounced countless times by Protestants as a heretic and it’s really unfair of you to lump him in with us, given the number of times he’s been confronted, corrected, rebuked, denounced, the fact that he has no standing in the Church, and preaches heresy.

If you’re looking for an example of “Southern Protestant Revival style preaching”, try Paul Washer.

Hinn is an outsider, a wolf and not one of us.
