Does anyone else have a problem with "moving" Holy Days to the nearest Sunday?

The issue of being a Catholic in a non-Catholic world is that often Masses for Holy Days of Obligation can literally be impossible to attend.

However this is only mandatory in the Vatican, and I know in the United States a few of these are not celebrated. Why is up for grabs, I think these all should be required days to attend mass. I would love to hear opinions on the matter.
In the United States, most of these days are just regular workdays and have no civil status for the millions of people who have to work for a living.

It isn’t the same in many European or Latin American countries, stock markets and banks are closed in the European Union and the Philippines for All Saints Day, example given.

Whether something ought to be a holy day of obligation is best decided on the local level, the local authorities can better determine whether it is something that can be done there.
