Does anyone else think Disney's Frozen sequel preaches paganism?

The Frozen sequel seemed to me to promote the gods of earth, fire, and water. At least it seemed that way to me.

How did they do that?
My guess is that they used mythological characters because children find them interesting.

Haven’t seen it, but I’m sure that Walt’s been turning over in his grave for at least fourty years at what Disney’s become.

I haven’t seen Frozen 2, but I was really disappointed with the first one. I don’t know about paganism, but the plot was nonsensical, the characters were poor with the exception of the guy and the reindeer, give me more of them, and the story didn’t have as much of a payoff as it should have. Some of the songs were good, But that’s about all I can say. I don’t know about paganism.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but often children’s stories use the mythology of ancients because children can relate to them. Fire, air, earth and water are all something that children understand. They know what they are and children can easily suspend disbelief to accept these elements has having power or at least can be good or bad.

Does the movie actually make these elements out to be gods or just people manipulating them as the main character does with ice in the first movie?

It’s a silly Disney story… It’s not like anyone is offering sacrifices to pagan gods at their local theatre.

I have no idea what’s in the movie, but I wouldn’t worry about it. No one seriously considers Earth elements to be gods. Maybe Pagans do, but I seriously doubt 10 year old girls will grow up to be Pagans after watching the movie.

So far as animations go, Frozen was…meh. Now my kids are too old to be excited about it but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see 2 at home when it’s on Prime or something.

The notable part for us is that Kristoff is a local boy.

had it not been for that song, frozen wouldnt have been such a blockbuster.

If there is any paganism it is indulging in the desires to be entertained by watching the film at all.

Yes, the pagan gods are pagan gods. Worshiped by the good, kind, wonderful natives, before the dreadful arrival of the Evil White Man (yes, I know this is too corny for belief, but nevertheless, that is the plot) who actually murders the leader of the good, wonderful natives, before forcing an Awful, Evil, Evil Evil Dam that ruined everything. Somehow.

I swear I am not making this up. Never seen anything so idiotic in my life.

No, we need a story, thus a force. Using these is common. Next off, you would think people would not blindly follow a Disney movie thinking it is a fact.

Talking Snowman

Does anyone else think Frozen 2 promotes the religion that Snowman can Talk. What is big media doing to our children? Our children are so blind they think Snowman can Talk. The only solution is to hide in a bunker and go full Benedict Option.

Those characters with ugly big anime heads as opposed to something proportionate turned me off enough to make me skip the whole thing. I’d rather watch the originals of 1001 Dalmatians or Beauty and the Beast again.

Yeah, that started back in the 1970s with Frosty the Snowman and the Abominable Snowman from Rudolph. Of course, in those days parents just assumed kids knew it was only make-believe.

Come on. Frost the Snowman never promoted paganism the way Frozen 2 does.
