I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Pauline Order. Do they follow the same rules in relation to company kept and things they are allowed to do in everyday life? Any info will be greatly welcomed.

God Bless!
🙂

All I know is I met a sister from them over the weekend and she was so cool! They seem like an awesome order to me!

And they have been around for a long time. (sorry I’m leery of new groups) lol

Are you referring to the Order of St. Paul the First Hermit, who have charge of the shrine of the Black Madonna in Poland, or are you referring to the members of the Pauline Family of communities founded by Father James Alberione early in the 20th century?

Are you referring to the Society of St. Paul or the Daughters of Saint Paul. We know of a community of the Daughters who are so close with us. They are very Eucharistic, filled with missionary zeal and love for others. Wow, I remember one Daughter embracing a beggar. 🙂 That’s so great.

The one founded by Fr. James Alberione.

I am looking into the Daughters of St Paul also. Here is their website:

daughtersofstpaul.com/daughters/index.html

From what I can tell, they are a neat group of sisters. They are international and work to get out the message of the gospel through the use of communications and technology. They go around the world giving presentations, selling books, writing books, composing music CDs, leading worship, etc.

I am awaiting a reply from their vocation’s director. Let me know if you want me to ask them anything specific.

Here is a bit about them:

"The spirituality of the Daughters of St. Paul is called “Pauline,” and it reflects the spiritual values and vision of Father James Alberione. In the Pauline spirituality, Father Alberione offered the Daughters of St. Paul and the other nine institutes he founded (all together called the Pauline Family), an integrated vision of Christ and the human person: “The whole Christ, Way, Truth and Life for the whole person, mind, will and heart.” The unifying center of our lives is Jesus Christ the Master who invites us to become one with him in love. In Jesus Master every human heart finds complete fulfillment. "

"Pauline prayer is nourished at the living fonts of the Word of God and the Eucharist. It is from here that the Paulines derive the strength needed to spend their lives seeking holiness of life in the service of the Gospel. As Father Alberione put it, speaking to the Daughters: Paulines are to “… live in the Eucharist, in the reading of the Gospel, in the contemplation of the examples of Jesus Master.”

I encourage you to visit their site and learn more about them.
