Yes, there are many. For a quick overview and list of them you can go here:

and read the section “Non-canonical gospels”

and the section: “List of non-canonical (“apocryphal”) Gospels”

You can also read them all if you can find the right book. Your library might have “The Complete Gospels” by Robert Miller.

There is an overwhelming amount of information there, but a couple of good suggestions for a student report would be the Gospel of Thomas, and the (very different) Infancy Gospel of Thomas. The Gospel of Thomas was used by a heretical sect called the Gnostic Christians, and the Infancy Gospel of Thomas discusses the types of things Jesus might have done as a child (the stories are folktales and in no way true). It contains some cute stories like Jesus making birds out of clay and bringing them to life to play with, and the not-so-cute story of Jesus having a temper tantrum and striking other children dead!
