Does anyone know who San Manuel is?

My grandpa once told me it was his family’s tradition for one to take the name of the saint on the day someone was born and adopt it as a middle name. My grandpa, who was born on Jan 1, had the middle name of “Manuel”. I have looked in traditional missals but have not been able to find anything about San Manuel; wikipedia didn’t help either. Does anyone know anything about him?
 
The only thing I can find is that Manuel is short for Emmanuel, and according to the old calendar, January 1 is the circumcision of Christ, so perhaps thats where it comes from?
