Does anyone on CAF watch SOAPnet regularly?

I guess the channel is essentially a “zombie” at this point, but it had two marathons of vintage General Hospital episodes last spring (one being a repeat of the other). I’d like for SOAPnet to show some All My Children episodes from the 1981-84 period in the near future.
 
No. My mom used to watch two soaps, I think, and seemed to really get into them. I never understood why. I tried to watch something for awhile, but the storylines are just so farfetched, I just couldn’t care about the characters enough to invest the time, so I never really watched.
