Does anyone who has been baptized catholic have to be re baptized?

I just asked an Episcopal Preists sitting next to me and he said no. Ummm now that I wrote this he said “well they’re not trinitarian, I don’t think they baptise.”

No need for any other baptism after you’ve been baptized in the Catholic church
 
It’s all good as far as the Baptism has the essentials such as the rituals before and after and the person is Baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit/Ghost
 
St John the Baptist never baptised the same person twice
He never said if the first time it doesn’t work try again
 
Thank You I saw John baptized Jesus but he didn’t need to be baptized because he wasn’t the son of man.

There are a few missing from that list and that may well have to do with where the list originated.

I was quite surprised to find that the Baptism of Moravians, a large part of our community and people I always considered Christians, are not necessarily valid even though it is trinitarian. According to the list my Pastor sent me, each case must be investigated separately. He sent me that list because I was unsure who parents could choose as Christian witnesses at their children’s Baptism.

I had a conditional Baptism after RCIA because I was not expected to live when I was born (weighed 2 lbs at birth 50 years ago) and a Catholic nurse baptised me Catholic. My southern Baptist mother did not like this so the baptism was not recorded. (Dad was Catholic so they were in mixed marriage.)

So had conditional Baptism at Easter Vigil after RCIA 40-something years later.
 
I was born premature as well do you have any difficulties or disabilities?
 
There can be only one valid Baptism per person because it leaves an indelible mark upon one’s soul
 
Mormons baptize in the Christ-specified formula: in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost/Spirit. The Trinity is one of the greatest Christian mysteries about which full understanding cannot be expected this side of heaven/eternity. It’s hard to imagine that God would punish/exclude anyone from His Kingdom for trying/failing to understand something none of us can fully understand correctly here and now.

In the context of this thread, if someone who was baptized in the CoJCoLDS wanted to enter the Catholic Church he/she would have to be baptized in the CC. That is because the LDS does not have the same understanding of the Trinity as the CC (and most Protestants).

Understand your statement about God not punishing someone who did not understand the difference in the LDS understanding of the Trinity and the CC understanding. They may be ignorant of the difference and may not be culpable.
