Does baptism "free" us from Original Sin?

I know it washes away the stain. Put another way, are we still individually subject to the effects and temptations of Original Sin after baptism? Catechism references appreciated.

Yes, we are Humans with Free Will, and always subject to every type temptation. Our Lord, His Church are the best Solution, answers, and Prevention Source to our weaknesses.

Baptism restores our relation to God. It does not undo the damage to our nature that original sin caused. We are still subject to our tendency to sin.
