You know, all I am going to say is that like 1ke said, there are no rules. Not anymore.
Nothing seems to be off limits anymore either. Brides throwing their own showers. Destination weddings. Registrys for those that want cash only gifts to pay for their honeymoon, house, or whatever. “Themes” that have nothing to do with getting married. Photos, music, programs, flower arrangements fueled by Pintetest, and that’s just at the church!
Weddings are out of control. People need to get back to what it really is about.
Perhaps if people cut out some of the trimmings and frou frou they could afford to invite people instead. Like the above mentioned blog said: $6000 for a dress that is worn for one day?
