Does everyone have a Patron Saint?

I’ve never even thought about having my “own” patron saint. I guess I feel like I can’t just pick one and expect him/her to take me on :). I don’t want to be presumptuous! I have prayed to various saints and asked for their intercession for many years, but do not have one overarching patron. Maybe I should look into it.
 
I have two. St. Dymphna. I have bipolar and she is the Saint of mental disorders. Our Lady of Providence whom is the patron Saint of the Diocese of Rhode Island.
 
I find comfort in the Blessed Mother and St. Marcellina.

My children both have Saint names, and while my husband isn’t Catholic I find comfort in praying to Mary and Joseph for him.

Whoever is patron of your country, your profession or your state in life, for example - they’re interceding for you whether you ask them or not, whether you’re aware of 'em or not! 👍

For me - I have a devotion to Our Lady under her title of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St Joseph (patron of immigrants, since I work with them), St Francis of Assisi (being a Franciscan), St Helen (my confirmation saint) and St Thomas More (patron of lawyers - again to do with my profession).

I like that. 😃

For me personally, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Therese of Lisieux, and St. Patrick.

I also go to Mass and do the Act of Consecration to Our Lady of Fatima every first Saturday of the month.
 
I don’t really have a patron saint, but there a bunch of saints I really like.

St. Dismas
St. Dymphna
St. Jospeh
St. Peter
St. James
and of course my own Guardian Angel. 🙂
 
My patron saint is St. Anne, Mary’s mother.
also
St. Monica - devout mother and wife. 🙂

Those two ladies I feel very close to.

I don’t have a saint I have a special devotion to, but I’ve just discovered Saint Maria Goretti.

Perhaps she will adopt me, or another saint will make themselves known!
