Does God always Love us all the same? Even as much as Virgin Mary?

I have a few Protestant friends that tell me that “God does NOT love us all the same”. They stated that God blesses certain individuals and God loves those individual more. They noted that once we are part of God’s family (similar to our own families), God has a deeper love for us. There was also some talk about “particular grace”.

I have always thought God loves us all the same regardless (love your neighbor as yourself). Although I had not thought about it before, I think that would also mean that He loves each of us as much as the Virgin Mary. That is a big thought to swallow - please correct me if I am wrong.

My question for the forum is - Is there a point in time that God does not love us all the same? For example, when Jesus comes to Judge us, some will not come into God’s Kingdom…thus, these people (souls) will be subjected to eternity without God (without Love). Or, does God love us more when we accept the blessings He tries to “equally” give each of us and it is that acceptance of the blessings that could affect how much love He has for us. I am trying to understand if God always loves us the same - am I missing something?

I would sincerely appreciate a more in depth understanding to God’s love for all of us (if there is one).

God shows no partiality to anyone .our God is a God of order, each person differ from another person, his likes dislikes, Faith Hope and Charity likewise, virtues, innumerable other things, But God certainly choose certain persons to do His will, and filled them with much Graces, like Mother Mary, saints etc. for his special calling and election, she also had to suffer much for that, till the end. Jesus hates sin, but not the repentant sinner, God weeps when we sin, Jeremiah 13:17 God said .But if you will not listen, my soul will weep in secret for your pride; my eyes will weep bitterly and run down with tears, because the LORD’s flock has been taken captive. but he waits patiently till death for us to come back like the prodigal son. God is mercy and compassion but he also is justice he will correct our sins if necessary harshly,
Hebrews 12: 5-11 And have you forgotten the exhortation which addresses you as sons?—
“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
nor lose courage when you are punished by him.
6 For the Lord disciplines him whom he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”
7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers to discipline us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?

Finally God forgives ,but if your persistent in sin there will be consequence or if you choose to sin and reject Jesus and his Grace, your using your free will to choose hell.then God is not responsible for your soul but you are!

In her (St. Therese"Little Flower" ) autobiography, she beautifully explains this spirituality:

Jesus set before me the book of nature. I understand how all the flowers God has created are beautiful, how the splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not take away the perfume of the violet or the delightful simplicity of the daisy. I understand that if all flowers wanted to be roses, nature would lose her springtime beauty, and the fields would no longer be decked out with little wild flowers. So it is in the world of souls, Jesus’ garden. He has created smaller ones and those must be content to be daisies or violets destined to give joy to God’s glances when He looks down at His feet. Perfection consists in doing His will, in being what He wills us to be.
