Baptism on spirit is a valid means.

And even if you disagree you don’t decide; God does.

I’ve been Baptised in water and spirit and I follow Christ. I’m Christian. So lay off.

None of that changes what the Church Teaches.

According to the Catholic Church, the Quaker religion is NOT Christian.

I will leave it to the Holy Spirit to convict you.

I am merely relating what the Catholic faith Teaches. You are free to reject.

You reject that someone who follows Christ, and has been Baptised in water and spirit is Christian?

There are people who want a tolerant communion.
You mean like the earliest church, where only gnostics were not tolerated for believing Christ did not die in the flesh, or those partaking unworthily (unChrist like towards one another).?

St Justin Martyr said those who are Baptized and believe what we Teach are to receive Eucharist Communion.

He said “we” not “me”.

And we don’t know everything he preached.

And what about You?

Do you think Justin meant a Baptism without water? And Eucharist without bread and wine?

Intetezting…they at odds are they not…just saw that John Bunyan wrote a tract against some quaker beliefs and practices…and i like bunyan, and Pilgrims Progress book.
My father read that book to us, as children.

And what do you make of his criticism?

At least I am Christian or at the very least have a valid baptism according to this 🙂

Amen. Let’s not set our goal to be the least! 🙂

And don’t tell me, “… but the least will be the greatest!” 🙂

I believe that Scripture is all truth and leads everybody to truth no matter what side of the christian church you are on.

I agree Scripture is all truth but leads us to one side, not different sides.

So are those ones that tell us to murder still correct?
I couldn’t say, don’t know of any.
Given that I have now spoken with my former priest, the Catholic one, and even they say I’m still Christian after chatting with me about where I stand I think you’re wrong.
Clearly that short chat did not include enough of the salient information. Even so, the qualities that characterize Christianity have been the same since the time of the Apostles. A person who does not believe that the Scriptures are inspired and inerrant has departed from Christian doctrine.
As Jesus was both man and God his understanding is both human and godly.
It is also a departure from Christian faith to deny that humans can understand through divine revelation (beyond “human” understanding/ability).

You already asked that, and I already answered.
Your logic is really faulty.

It wasn’t short. I’m sorry you’re wrong.

It seems Christians are allowed to think that translations can be faulty.
