Also, I literally said I had no interest in converting you  I have told you, and others, multiple times that I’m happy you feel your denomination helps you find Christ.

you crossed the path into bullying a long time ago. Which is needless.
That’s your favorite accusation. Further proof that You lost the argument long ago…
Sorry dude, your argument has been flawed like crazy. I know you don’t see it but I think I’ll take the opinion of the people with degrees and more experience in this over yours. Now, care to get back to the topic or are you going to continue to harangue?

I’ll take the opinion of the people with degrees and more experience in this over yours.
I think it’s funny that you’re shopping around for affirmation. People only do that when they’re faced with superior arguments and their position has been eroded. You’re on CAF because, deep inside, you’re still Catholic and you know it!

No, I share bad arguments which colleagues because they’re funny.

Nope, definitely a Quaker. Glader than ever. And I prayed for you at lunch 😊

You reject that someone who follows Christ, and has been Baptised in water and spirit is Christian?
We reject your claim to follow Christ, as your direction is opposite of what Jesus taught.

A person who has been baptized in water and Spirit was made a member of the Body of Christ. You have espoused post baptismal doctrines that are contrary to the faith into which you were baptized. That makes you an apostate Christian (former) or heretic (obstinat denial of doctrines of the faith).

If this is the kind of Christian you choose to be, that is up to you. Wouldn’t it sound better just to be a Quaker?

I am not sure what you mean by “reject”. No one has “rejected” you here. We have rejected your attempts to persuade us that your ideas are Christian.
I believe that Scripture is all truth and leads everybody to truth
Can you show where Scripture says this?

If Jesus is the Truth, and Scripture alone leads everybody to Truth, why do we have opposite “truths”?
It seems Christians are allowed to think that translations can be faulty.
I certainly hope so! I have read some abysmal ones.
Luckily I do.
Possibly like Saul of Tarsus thought He was following God!
I asked him “so am I still Christian” and he said “yes”
One has to wonder why this is so important to you? You have joined a community that does not require members to be Christian. You have spent a lot of effort trying to convince your priest and people here that you are still Christian. Why does it matter so much?
He said he would prefer if I returned to Catholicism, but he didn’t deny the Christianity of Protestants.
Clearly he is unaware that Quakers are no longer Christian.

you deny that someone who follows Christ and is Baptised is Christian.
It is the quality of your Christianity that has changed. Your present state is much worse than your first. An apostate or heretical Christian is no advantage!
I don’t think any of us understand all of what God does. And while God can lead is we are still human and our understanding is still human, and that’s not so bad: He made humans after all.
You are denying the Christian doctrine that God can reveal His will to the human mind, such that we have divine understanding.
Sorry, dude, still Christian no matter how much you dislike it.
I wouldn’t call it a “dislike” really. It is more of a grief - sadness and loss. Anyone who falls away from the faith is a great loss to the Church.
my priest knows I think some Bibles have translation problems; that’s not the heresy you seem to think it is.
Accepting that there are errors in translation is not heresy. Denial that the Scripture is inspired and inerrant is.
Because I never left Christian ways of life
No one here can know about your “way of life”, all we can do is go by what you have posted, which is not consistent with the Christian faith.
I have told you, and others, multiple times that I’m happy you feel your denomination helps you find Christ.
Yes, but the fact that you would refer to the Catholic faith as a “denomination” demonstrates that you were poorly catechized.
No, I share bad arguments which colleagues because they’re funny.
What an odd form of entertainment.

You claim you had a very vivid personal spiritual experience. It is followed by using these discussions as entertainment and an opportunity to mock others of faith because they don’t meet your departmental standards of writing logic? Which fruit of the spirit is that?

Sorry, dude, still a Christian and you don’t know better than the priest. Care to get back on topic?

Lol, nope; found then funny. As did my colleagues. We also laughed at the compilation of terribly written short stories; do we secretly want to be bad authors?

Sorry dude, still Christian no matter what you keep repeating 😊

Care to get back on topic?

A sense of humour. 😊

Sorry friend but you’re just wrong. Care to return to the topic of the thread?

Does God Call People to Be Seperate from the Eucharist?

NO.

You inserted yourself into this topic and I believe your situation fits within the scope of this Thread

You repeat several canned responses and then feign insult. Please, you aren’t here for serious debate just your bizarre amusement.

It seems somewhat hypocritical that you can laugh and mock the posts of other members here with your peers, but get offended at members here posting what you consider to be disrespectful.

Honestly, I have been here for a long time, and never had a member brag about reading the posts with colleagues and mocking the deficiencies of the other members. If this is Christlike behavior, I am unfamiliar with it.

Acctually I’ve had several lovely conversations come from this thread. Above I had a lovely talk about divine inspiration with mcq72 and I have three discussions going on in PM with people who want to chat but found this thread too toxic.

We suggested ways you could improve your writing style 😊 it’s funny, but one can find something funny without it being mean. I also find it funny when I find out the silly logic we all had as kids, it’s cute.

Care to return to topic?

Actually it seems that threads are meant to stay somewhat on the original topic 😊 mind you it seems like the original question was a wee bit pointless as they have their opinion and bias formed.
