What “No Salvation Outside the Church” Means. catholic.com/magazine/articles/what-no-salvation-outside-the-church-meansNothing would ever convince me of this. There is no commonality between the Christian and Islamic faiths. As another poster has pointed out, Jesus said “No man cometh unto the Father but by me”. How then can anyone who does not acknowledge Jesus pray to the Father?
And then there is your own reference, John 3:16.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
This passage alone makes it clear that it is necessary to believe in the Son.
