Does God forget our sins?

When going to Confession. Your sins are forgiven (IF) your confession is done correctly. Does this also mean: that your sins are “FOREGOTTEN”? Does GOD The Father actualy forget them as well as forgive them ? Just a thought !!!:confused:
 
Hi,

God is all knowing; He can’t ever be without knowledge. Your question assumes that He is on our level and He is not. He is God and is beyond our ability to fully fathom! When He forgives, His forgiveness is total, but He does not forget.
