Does God forgive us?

I have sinned a lot. But 8 months ago I commited adultry. I am so repentful of this. My husband knows about this and has forgiven me but Im scared of how God will view me. I know he knows my heart and knows that I have truely repented but I still wnat an opinion. Does God forgive us?
 
Yes, through the sacrament of confession God forgives all our sins. Trust in His love and mercy.
