Does God give us too much freedom

We are taught that God wants us to have free will, that is a good thing as we cannot be robots who mindlessly follow Gods commandments and never stray from the right path. On the other hand I think that God gives us so much freedom that it is frightfully easy to make colossal mistakes and perhaps even to die in a way which leads to Damnation, I have had many moments in life where I think that there is no such thing as Gods will, that if I do one thing God may or may not really care enough to tell me what he thinks of what I am doing. That God does not care if one wants to work in Mcdonalds all their life or become a leading surgeon. God clearly intervened in the lives of a few like St Paul who he personally told what he thought of his actions, for 99.9997% of us though we will never truly know what God is thinking of us at that moment.

Yes we are truly free. St.Paul could have rejected Gods grace, but he was open to His grace. We too can be open to Gods grace do many wonderful things according to Gods will.

Yes we are free but moral reflection guides us to good choices, to seek the things of Heaven, not the things of this world.
