Puppies and kittens at play also present proof that God has a sense of humor.

Finally someone who actually gives a solid theological answer rather than an answer based on how they feel.No.
God can not find anything to be funny. Things are funny because there is an element of surprise, something not quite expected has to happen for something to be funny. God knows everything at all times, nothing can be surprising to him.
God does however have joy. He can laugh out of joy.
God laughing is not quite accurate. We are a reflection of God. We love, we feel joy, we laugh, these are material analogues of something God experiences but God’s is the true form, ours is but an image.
This is a very thought provoking post.No.

Thank you for reminding me of this, but I have a question.No.

Of course he approves of humor, however, he does not himself have a sense of humor (in the divine nature anyway).I am guessing here but I would think that because God created everything, a sense of humour would be something that He approves of and which He deems worthy.
and He liked parties, did He not?!Humor is a good thing. God is the father of all good things. It can help us survive bad times, improve and strengthen friendships, and help us cut through the layers of human falsehood and see the truth that lies beneath. It can be turned to badness like any good thing, but evil is not creative, it can only pervert the good.
Jesus clearly had a sense of humor, and moreover it was very much a guy’s sense of humor. He told the joke about pointing out the mote in someone else’s eye when you have a plank in your own, a funny image and expression which has the rhythm of a joke. (I always wondered if he heard that expression originally when he was sweeping up in Joseph’s shop as a kid while Joseph and the other carpenters in the village hung out together and cracked jokes. It sounds like a carpenter’s joke.) He used humorous exaggeration to make his points, which seems to be a long tradition in Jewish humor - I suspect He did not literally mean that one should cut one’s hand off if it was offending. He also made a kinda sorta pun with the meaning of Cephas. Punning is almost exclusively a form of humor that men do.
This is true.and He liked parties, did He not?!
Totally. And you know they were drinking Coors light while they were cracking jokes. Warm beer is undrinkable. So it must have been ice cold.…I always wondered if he heard that expression originally when he was sweeping up in Joseph’s shop as a kid while Joseph and the other carpenters in the village hung out together and cracked jokes.
