Does God know the future?

I am a 48 year old convert taking RCIA. My background is evangelical/fundamentalist. Last night the bible teacher for class said God does not know what we will chose to do next, and our God does not know the future. I almost fell off the chair. His presentation of the scriptures focused on the “errors” found in scripture, and the parting of the Red Sea was caused by a wind. I believe God knows everything and he is ot constrained by time.

If I had been there, I would have almost fallen of the chair as well. How can God be all-knowing if He doesn’t know something? Of course, God knows the future. To say otherwise is heresy.

This person should NOT be making RCIA presentations and he should not be on the RCIA staff. You are absolutely correct. The pastor should be notified of this—and if he doesn’t correct the situation, the bishop should be notified. Let me know if I can be of help.
