Does GOD Let you fall into mortal sin? I know he doesnst want you to, but does he let you?

He allows free will. It’s your fault for committing the sin. Unless you would rather have a police God who bosses you around? Hmmm…

We have free will given to us by God. What we do with that free will is up to us.

Think of it like being on the roof of a building and watching a car accident about to happen. You know it’s going to happen but have nothing to do with it.

God does not sit around in heaven playing “gotchya” with us on earth by tempting us unreasonably. He may place us in situations of temptation to test us, but He never directly causes us to sin.

Our concupiscence naturally drives us towards sin. (We can debate whether it’s towards venial or both venial and mortal). God gives us the grace of the sacraments to avoid sins as much as possible.

Rational creatures are created by God with free will, and it is within God’s “permitting will” to allow rational creatures choice in their behavior. Temptation is morally neutral; but acting upon temptation is not.

We can ask for assistance when falling into temptation. Help will come, but God will not stand in the way, if we continue forward. We have to do some of the work ourselves.

God “lets” you do anything you want to do. The lids are off.

God bless every readers of the CAF.
.
It is good question.
.
God is the Supreme Leader of the universe, NOTHING happen in the universe without God’s permission, we are free to do anything God let us to do.
.

FOR EXAMPLE

If I’m an un-regenerated person, I cannot go to Christ unless first I have permission from God to go to Christ.

The timing for us to go to Christ is God’s, in His timing God grants the permission for EVERYONE of us to go to Christ and God personally draws us to Christ.
.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE

If I’m a child/elect of God, God doesn’t let me to die in the state of mortal sin, because God protects me from to die in the state of mortal sin. – Of course, no child of God want to die in the state of mortal sin.
.

As we see above, we can do anything we have permission from God to do.
.

God bless every readers of the CAF.
