Does God the Father hear the prayers of Muslims?

But what Muslims are taught about Jesus is not how He really is. Christians on this site can talk about Jesus but Muslims are seeing what we say through their cultural eyes. It makes it harder for them to know Him than someone who has never heard His name before. So I think they are as ignorant of Him as someone in the bush.
 
allah-is God’s name in arabic- just like Dios is God’s name in spanish different terms same God.Is God the God of all nations and religion-yeah. If we don’t believe that then we are thinking of God as LIMITED. He is not Limited - because if he was he wouldn’t be God- would he?If you say God wont listen to this one or love and care for that one- how do you know? Are you a prophet- to speak God’s mind?How can God be God if he follows what we think he should do or how he should act? God is a God of Justice- but also of Mercy and Love- love always trumps everything else…🙂 Reread Jonah to get a clearer picture of God and His mercy.🙂

Some do. Some of the Muslim posters on this forum don’t seem to hate unbelievers. A friend of mine once taught in Egypt and knew many Muslims who knew she was Christian and were very kind and accepting of her. They showed her hospitality.
 
Yes I agree. Sometimes I think Middle Eastern people are born unwillingly to become Muslim, but must be Muslim b/c everyone else is…Remember that Muslim who came forward a couple years ago because he was reading our Bible? He was a Catholic for 19 years and no one ever knew. They wanted to kill him and he took refuge in Rome. The pope took him into Rome to escape the mob of Muslim who wanted to destroy him. Beautiful conversion story. This man risked his life for Jesus Christ. Something I’m not sure any of us could do…(except me) 😉

No- but we are not Muslims and what they do should have no impact on us- so they are our ‘neighbors’ whether they like or not!😃 ST.Paul says that being kind will ‘heap burning coals’ on any ‘enemy’s’ head.

Actually, some yes. I met a friend of a friend this summer and she’s Muslim and when we went to her house it was one of the most hospitable welcomes I’ve ever received. Not to mention she even let us go into her family’s mosque (which is rare that a Muslim would let a non-Muslim into a mosque).

The Quran does contradict itself on the idea of how Muslims should treat Christians, but overall I’d say, at least in the US, the Muslims are charitable.

Charitable? Just because you met one woman who was good to you at that moment, doesn’t mean that when we actually fight in the Holy war (and it’s coming, if not already here), she will be on your side.
There are lots of people on this thread who are really annoying me to the point of saying Muslims are a peaceful religion. It is not a peaceful religion. Get it through your heads people. Muslim kill in the name of God, states it right in the Qu’ran!

I don’t agree with all the Muslim(Islam) say but we must be charitable. The OP was about prayer, you could put any name after that ? Baptist? Methodist? Mormons?
Start a thread on the Holy War or if we discuss it here then this thread could get closed.
I don’t know if Muslim is a peaceful religion( most likely not) as I have been threatened by other religions but I don’t know any muslims ssoooo I cannot not judge.
The method of prayer seems to be very important as I have just started reading in the Catechism it has a large chapter, I know it but not know how to explain it. So this would be a diff in some does that help?
If anything it has helped me to explore my prayers. And read my CCC.
