Does instinct have a part in epistemology?

The question of what belief and knowledge is the basis of an entire branch of philosophy called epistemology.Yet I see another way us humans get information and navigate through it.It’s intuition (which maybe?) might be divided further or declared as something separate from instinct.Does anyone know if instinct and/or intuition are somehow mentioned a/o brought up in epistemology?.

I think by instinct you mean non-declarative memory - including but not limited intrinsic motor skill.

For intuition, I would say it falls under non-declarative memory - including but not limited to semantic and and episodic memory.

Therefore, it would seem instinct and intuition would not be the same, but I’m not sure exactly how that would relate to epistemology.

I doubt that neither “instinct” nor “intuition” are mentioned at all in epistemology

Instincts are behaviours that are ingrained in our collective mind and tend to be related to survival of the species rather than the use of the intelect, they are reflexive actions.
An example would be our instictive action of lifting our arms in a protective move if someone attacks us, we need not think it through it will be instinctive, many behaviours fall under this category.

Intuition on the other is related to the way that the human mind tends to come to beliefs that do not require our logical mind to operate, it’s correlated with our grasp of beauty, and the creative process, on any field of human endeavour.
I would call it the inspiration from GOD that speaks to us even without us fully realizing it.
An example of inspiration would be that eureka moment that we probably each and every one has had at least once during our lifetime and many times we fail to recognize that it was given to us.
Perhaps the Holy Ghost speaking to us?
