Does my fiance need an annulment?

I was married in the Catholic Church back in 1983 and it has since been annulled. Now I am ready to marry again, to a man who was married in the Church as well, yet his faith is Lutheren. Since my finance is not Catholic, must he too go through the annulment process in order for us to marry in the Church?

From the information you have given, it does seem necessary that he have an annulment.
