The penitent forgets to do the penance. Weeks or months pass by. The individual feels the need to confess another sin(s) in Confession. Does neglecting to do the penance invalidate the previous Confession? [edited]
Usually penances are well known prayers such as ‘Our Father’, ‘Hail Mary’ or ‘Glory Be’. You are likely to have prayed these since you were allocated your penance. If you go to a regular confessor you are likely to understand the type of penances the Priest imposes. This being so just recite a Rosary and you will have ticked all the boxes!
No your previous confession would not be invalidated. God would not be angry.
