Does presumption in the case of a Venial sin, become mortal?

Title asks the question,
If I commit a venial sin on the presumption that God is going to forgive me, doesn’t that make it a mortal sin? Because presumption is in itself grave?

Please correct me if I’m wrong on anything.

In my opinion, there are different levels of presumption, and not all are grave.

Perhaps we could say more if we examined what presumption is and how it violates the Commandment to love God and love one another. I don’t yet have a clear understanding of this. If it is possible to commit a small sin, with presumption, and still at that moment love God and neighbor, though imperfectly, it may not be mortal.

I will have to think about it, and I hope others write in with greater understanding.

If you presume God will forgive you if you called me a name, I don’t see how that is possibly a mortal sin. I’d even forgive you if called me a name.
