Well, I am not a confirmed member of any church. I trust God and do pray. I have never had many friends. My best friend of 40 years is an atheist. He is a very likeable person, but does not seek God.
He never mentions God, but he will make fun of religious people from time to time. On one occasion he invited some Jehovahs Witnesses into his house and listened to them talk about their beliefs. And then he told them, that he had listened to them so now he would like them to listen to him.
So he made up this big story that he was a Satan worshiper, and there were people in his back yard who are preparing to sacrifice a goat. He told them that they were welcome to participate in the cerimony.
He really terrifed them, he said they bolted out of the house.
But, anyway I do pray for my friend from time to time, and God has helped him. He has said that he appreciated that I had prayed for him, but he credits me for the outcome rather than God.
