My daughter was married in the Roman Catholic Church and the marriage was later “blessed” in a Greek Orthodox ceremony of some sort. She objected in some way when she realized the “blessing” was in fact a marriage ceremony. Some years later they obtained a civil divorce. Her husband later had the marriage annulled in the Greek Orthodox Church so that he could remarry in that Church. Is she free to marry in the eye of God.

Hi,

She would first have to have the marriage annuled in the Catholic Church. At least some Orthodox Churches accept divorce and remarriage. This is what might actually have happened.
