Scenario:- A non baptised man and woman marry. She is later baptised.
Is her marriage valid? (I understand that her marriage is not sacramental as he is not baptised) She is worried that her marriage is invalid and she fears receiving the other sacraments (esp, Holy Communion). I understand that if she was first baptised and then she married outside the Church without permission from her Bishop, then her marriage would be considered invalid.
If her marriage is not valid, can she have it convalidated? Does this require a Religious ceremony or does it just require paper work? Does she have any alternative courses if her husband has a problem with this?
