Does the Catholic Church recognize infant Confirmation?

A practice of the Byzantine Catholic Church is to confirm its members when they are babies. If you were confirmed this way does it count as a valid confirmation in the Roman Catholic Church or must you get re-confirmed as a Roman Catholic?
 
Dear PMV,

Yes the Catholic Church recognizes infant Confirmation as valid. It recognizes all sacraments in Catholic Byzyntine Rite as well as in the Orthodox Churches.
