A friend has been baptised and confirmed catholic. prior to that he was married in the mormon church at a young age 19 and 22 is it valid in our church
The Catholic Church recognizes most marriages between non-Catholics as valid, including those of Mormons. However, since it does not recognize Mormon baptisms as valid, their marriages would not be sacramental.
The fact that the couple you mention were so young at the time of the wedding, there could be grounds for an annulment.
