Does the Catholic church recognize Protestant marriage ceremony? Does one need an annulment before marrying a single Catholic in the Catholic church if she was married in the Baptist church?
 
Hi,

The Catholic Church recognizes marriages between non-Catholics to be valid. She will need an annulment before being allowed to marry in the Catholic Church–if she qualifies for one. Check with your priest.
