Does the Church approve of limited homosexual behavior?

why does the Church teach that those with same-sex attraction are called to live “chaste” lives? shouldnt it be “celibate” lives? it seems that “chaste” implies that homosexual activity is permissable in moderation. or am i missing something? I always thought that chastity is what all christians are called to-- sexual activity in moderation or something like that. im confused. help
 
Hi Kentucky,

Being chaste means being celibate for everyone–except for those who are married. Married people are allowed one more sexual partner than the rest–and only one.
