Does the Church bind people to be against pot legalization?

I would hypothesize that it doesn’t because whether to legalize anything seems to be a prudential matter unless there is an inherent sin in doing so.

But I don’t think that there is an inherent sin in legalizing MJ.

Depends on how you look at the Church’s ability to make this clear for it’s many followers over it’s many years.
 
Where there is a potential for abuse, yes, you are bound by the Church to be against it. Where is smoking pot beneficial? Sure, people will point to its medical uses, but at the expense of all of its negative consequences, such as memory loss and making you dumb. For such drugs as pot, smoking and drinking, the Church must never support them.

Talking about the expense of negative consequnces, is looking directly into the sun an advisable thing to do no matter who endorses the idea?
 
I don’t know what the church says about it, but I’m so against the use of drugs that it’s unreal…I’m terrible about it.
