I understand that you have posted that doing yoga just as an excercise is ok.
What I would to know is where did you get your information?
Was it from church documents, because if it was I need to know where. You see if you knew anything about yoga and what our church teaches, you would know that you can seperate the excercise from the religon. Check with Johnnette Benkovic or Fr. Mitch Pacwa or Fr. John Hardon or even CHURCH documents.
If I seem a little upset, I am. It is exhusting to see Catholics, not knowing what they are talking about, giving answers to people that are trying to fine the truth, and they get more misinformed answers. This web site is a very good one, so why did you give an opinion as oppose to church teaching? I have to wonder, are you doing yoga, and are trying to make it ok.
It is hard enough when non-catholics say things, but we really need to know the truth before we post things when you are teaching.
Somebody needs to correct this. it is not fair to people who rely on this web site.
