Does the Church teach you don't have to necessarily believe in Jesus to be saved?

READ JOHN 6:

Jesus the Bread of Life
25 When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”

26 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

30 So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’[c]”

32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”

35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. 37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

41 At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” 42 They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”

43 **“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” **Jesus answered. 44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’[d] Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. 46 No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. 47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, **unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. **55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” 59 He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

Many Disciples Desert Jesus

60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”

61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! 63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[e] and life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. 65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”

66 **From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
**
67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.

68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

70 Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!” 71 (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)
I kneel and pray at the Cross in church and by the one outside, for the Cross is our salvation and I go to church to receive Our Lord in the Holy Communion.AMEN

“What happens if a person is not aware of the good news of Jesus? If, as the Church teaches, it is part of human nature to love and to seek happiness, then a person without knowledge of Jesus may respond to these innate drives without knowing their source. God’s grace is given independent of a person’s recognition. If one lives according to the love of God implanted in one’s heart, one can be saved. However, this lack of knowledge is not a good thing. The world has been given a gift beyond measure in Jesus. To say that it’s possible to be saved without knowledge of him is not to suggest that ignorance of him should be accepted. It is far better to know Jesus than not to. Knowing him means knowing where one comes from and where one is headed. A person may have a sense that there is more to life than here and now, but without Jesus the person misses the full picture. Worse yet, “some there are who, living and dying in this world without God, are exposed to final despair” (Lumen Gentium, No. 16). To work against this fate for anyone, the Church urges every member to share the Gospel.”

Americanism. Freemasonry. Communism. Pseudo-Judeo-Christianity.

Their goal: Abolish the Church and Monarchy. Replace it with politicians and borders. The righteous laws and social regulations will cause all the citizens of the state to walk in the same divinity as Christ.

Because all those who FACE A FLAG, PLACE HAND OVER HEART, SAY A ‘PRAYER’ GIVING THEIR SOUL OVER TO A pledge allegiance to the flag, are the great ones upon this earth. And if my politician makes a regulation, its good because we both are citizens and default are like christ and both are going to heaven because we say so and know so. (for those in other countries, youtube a video of kids pledging allefiance to the flag and you wont believe your eyes. this will help you understand Americans more).

Anyhow, I’m becoming of the opinion that Hearing the Good News is useless unless preferably baby baptized. Even adult baptism for whatever reason doesnt seem to ‘work’ all the time. Maybe doubt is in their heart as adults so it nuliffies the baptism (like Simon). Maybe other countries have more grace, but I’ve lived/worked with many immigrants who cant recieve the message of Christ. Why?

Because love and happiness is easily converted to love is never used in the Catholic definition, and happiness is of this world and temporary. Peace is something else entirely. The world cannot accept Christ and the Good News because they don’t know the Spirit. Spreading ‘knowledge’ to those without legal baptism simply does not work. It will not be received. Yes some can get saved through the Gospel alone. But we need to be realistic in how often this happens. You can send children to Christian school all theough their years, they then come here to take jobs and are not Christians at all. Its like it went in one ear and out the other. I’m coming to terms woth this lately and delving more into this subject.

We must question why Christianity has not grown in Japan, Calcutta, or has could not keep hold in places like Africa. Its like… as soon as some modern American non-Christian invention comes along like Pentecostalism, like… baptized Catholics are so quick to leave for something so BLARINGLY false. Their Sensus Fidelium(?) should give them pause of joining such things. This is a hard sibject to tackle but I must be honest.

I came to all this when looking into South Africa and their situation and history. Many authors have recognized that region of the world seems to be a typeshadow of things to come in the west. Right now, genocide is at a level 6 (of 8) by genocide watch. They want us dead. The Christian they want dead.

I would never say such things without a LOT of first hand experience. There is a conspiracy the past 30, 40 years to genocide Christians from existance. Killing is just ONE WAY of Genocide. There are other methods they can use. The only thing I can think of us, is we have generational baptism passed down which is a complex ambiguos study that obviously the Church isnt going to share. The Holy Roman Empire. Yes. The Kingdom on Earth. This is what is supoosed to be.

One of the fastest places the Catholic Church is currently growing is in Africa.
In the United States, and Europe, sadly receipt of the Sacraments has become more of a family ritual. The gift is received, and placed in the back of the closet not to be opened until somebody comes along to say, “Bring it down.” In other words, there is a lack of teaching of the gifts that we have.
If I have a bicycle, I want to know how to ride. There has been a disintegration of the family over the past century. We do not know the gifts that we possess. We are rich beyond measure.
The gospel message is best passed generationally in the living. I have lived much of my life in countries that are “not Christian.” People were attracted to my parents by the way of life they saw in my family, and so were converted to Christ. St. Paul says, “Don’t you know that you are temples of the Holy Spirit?” We are the living stones that people see. They are attracted more by our lives than by our words.
The most dynamic parish to which I belonged was in the Middle East. I engaged in dialogue with those whose religion differed from my own. We are called to be salt of the earth. Let people be thirsty for the Word of God, because they see it manifested in our lives. I don’t need to force what I believe on anybody. The taxi driver will ask about my faith when he drives me to church. That was my experience, not the negative one so often voiced. With God, nothing is impossible.
Has anybody asked me to sponsor them into the Church? That may not be my role, if I am merely the sower of seeds while another brings in the harvest. What have I had happen? I have discussed with Muslims the difference be between Ramadan and Lent. I knew the banker was merely teasing when he said he was ready to convert; he was merely thirsty. I use Biblical text references with devout Muslims. Fulton Sheen said, begin with what you have in common. I often discuss Faith with separated brothers and sisters. I have had an individual unafraid to walk up to me in the middle of the street, and ask for prayers.
It is not the one who cries “Lord, Lord who will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of the Father.”
There are different ways, as I have discovered over time to preach the Gossip. Not all require words.
