Does attendance/assistance at the Easter Vigil fulfill the Easter Sunday Mass obligation or should we attend both the Vigil and again on Easter Sunday?
Yes, the Easter Vigil Mass fulfills the Easter Sunday obligation, just as any vigil Mass fulfills the obligation for the next day. If you can go to both Masses though, it is nice to be able to do so because the liturgies are significantly different. But you are not required to do so.
