well you just have to face the facts Us Old Catholicare Valid and our baptisams and so forth are very Valid and Imani temple is and us Old Catholic churches are Catholic.and Pope John as well as this Pop has stated that please read
Dominus Iesus

At the Vatican on 16 June 2000, Pope John Paul II ratified and ordered the publication of Dominus Iesus. This Declaration of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith was signed and published by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI) in August of the same year.

In this Declaration, the Romanan Catholic Church recognizes the validity of Orders and Sacraments of Old Catholic denominations:

“The Churches which, while not existing in perfect communion with the [Roman] Catholic Church, remain united to her by means of the closest bonds, that is, by apostolic succession and a valid Eucharist, are true particular Churches.”

“Therefore, these separated Churches and communities as such … have by no means been deprived of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation. For the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation which derive their efficacy from the very fullness of grace and truth entrusted to the Catholic Church.” IV. Unicity and Unity of the Church, 17
also it is stated in the Roman catholic Cannon law that we are a Valid catholic church with no tides to Rome.I realy think that most of you guys comenting on this realy dont know Roman catholic law and have read the Statements by your last Pope and the Pope now.

Does the Imani Temple have valid sacraments?
No. Old Catholics is a schsmatic group that broke apostolic succession by ordaining female priests. If it was a case like the Orthodox Church, also an schsmatic group, that did not break apostolic succession, than Old Catholics would have valid sacraments. But since it’s not that case, Old Catholics don’t have valid sacraments.

The words “… remain united to her by means of the closest bonds, that is, by apostolic succession and a valid Eucharist” are the most important, and the problem was pointed out long ago in this very thread:
Female clergy is the problem, if not now, then later. Women cannot be validly ordained. Therefore, if a female “bishop” “ordains” another “bishop”, it breaks the apostolic chain.

Hmmm. “Holy Qur’an” eh.
The ordination of a female “priest” is invalid. A “Mass” offered by an invalidly ordained person is invalid. The ordination of a female “bishop” is invalid. The ordination of anyone (male or female) to any order by an invalidly ordained “bishop” is invalid. A “bishop” ordained by an invalidly ordained “bishop” breaks the Apostolic Succession.

What the Holy Office said was a restatement of the traditional position, and must be read in the context of Tradition and Canon Law. The fact that there exist invalidly ordained “clergy” means that such “clergy” are incapable of confecting valid Sacraments.

so then what you are saying that the old catholic church as well as its clergy are not Valid altho under you Roman catholic cannon law and by the decree that was sent out by Pope John stateing that we are valid are lies so what you are saying is that the Roman catholic church is a lie? and full of liers?well lets face the facts us Old catholic churches and priest and clergy are very much valid and our lines of Apostolic successions are valid and unbroken now I will admit that there are some socalled old catholics (Bishop/clergy) that are not realy clergy and have put up a front and they have been ask and have been sat down .but we are a ****VALID CATHOLIC CHURCH.****AND Rome has stated this many times humm its soo sad that some clergy in the roman catholic church know this but dont want to face the facts that we are a valid catholic church with unbroken lines of Apostalic Succession .humm makes me think are you Roman catholic priest scared that we are a true and living church doing Gods works and growng and roman catholics are coming over to the old catholic church
