Does the Pope have a special heavenly connection?

I was wondering about this. It wouldn’t suprise me one bit if the Pope did have a special connection. I don’t mean prayer- obviously he does there, I mean are angels walking around the Vatican? Does the Pope speak to God in a different way? It struck me how possible it is, especially after reading this–

What do you think? You think there are Angels wandering around the Vatican?
 
I would hope that the Pope has a special heavenly connection via the Holy Spirit. After all, he was selected by the power of the Holy Spirit. I think that avenue is opened to all of us who ask for it as well and remain in favor with God… free from mortal sin.
 
I don’t disagree at all with that stbruno. What I’m talking about is something more supernatural? More unusual? Know what I mean?
 
We can’t say No, and we can’t say Yes either. Let the Pope tell us himself. 🙂 He might not tell you either unless it is something approved by the Church. 😉
 
Yep. Used to be a standard landline, but now it’s VoIP. Much better long distance plan.
