Does the pope have supernatural powers?

Any Power comes yes from God. We do not usually though call them “supernatural powers”

Could a Pope exorcize? Yes

Does the Pope Bless? Yes

Does a Pope heal? If God so wills.
 
“Supernatural” powers come from those who achieve a certain level of holiness that God’s grace naturally overflows and pours out to those close to them. It is not inherent in a position such as the Papacy, but something that naturally comes out from those who live holy lives. There are many saints in history with stories of healing and other supernatural manifestations but they were never Popes. It is a mark of one’s own holiness, not one’s office.
 
To understand the Pope and his significance especially to Catholics is that he not only occupies the same seat Saint Peter did which would be a big reason to highly regard any pope but it’s the same seat that Moses held and more importantly the Chair actually still belongs to Jesus but He selects a prime minister like in Isaiah 22, Jesus gave the keys of the kingdom to a prime minster while He is away and it started with Peter and it has been passed down to another successor 264 times. It’s why no one should ever want to be Pope if they do or even lobby for the job they will not get selected and they will probably lose their seat in the College of Cardinals and why the Holy Spirit guides the College of Cardinals during the selection of Pope. Majority of the time in the past 2000 years, the humblest of all the Cardinals have been selected. Pope Benedict’s brother wrote in his new book that then Cardinal Ratzinger once he heard the first round of votes pleaded with God not to pick him because he knew there were younger and much better men for the job.

Forgive me for answering a question… with a question…

But does the pope have Supernatural powers?
Or does a Supernatural power(God) have the Pope?

St Peter certainly healed and cast out demons. I dare say at least some of the other Popes have done the same but not widely publicised it. And many of the Popes who are Saints of course performed miracles after their death through their intercession.

Any miracle the Pope performs is through the power of Christ alone. The Pope has no superpowers of his own accord.

The power to exorcise, to bring the dead back to life, to make an object sacred by blessing it, to heal an incurable belongs to Christ alone.

So appearently, the Priest is manifesting Gifts that Christ gave him, but the Pope doesn’t have any spiritual gifts? The pope can not cast out demons?

Those are fictional super powers.

Example: Some of the mystics of the Church were seen levitating in mass. Could the Pope do that?

Also, Padre Pio had many mystic abilities and was at battle with evil EVERY day. Has ANY Pope had any of the gifts Padre Pio has?

Depends on what your mean by manifesting spiritual gifts and possessing spiritual gifts.

The Pope has spiritual gifts… Spiritual gifts include wisdom, understanding, counsel (right judgement), fortitude (courage), knowledge, piety (reverence), and fear of the Lord (wonder and awe).

No miracle or even the casting out of demons is done by a humans power alone.

All miracles come from the power of Christ alone.

The Pope himself cannot cast out demons, the power of Christ working through him can cast out demons.

I’m sure you’ve heard of Padre Pio. He had many abilities, I would like to ask, does the Pope have any of them? It was reported Padre could levitate…Could the Pope do that? And this is a serious question.

The Pope is a Priest as well as being a Bishop and The Holy Father, he is all three.
