Does the priest think less of me if

I keep Confessing for the exact same thing week after week for months on end? I know it doesn’t matter what he thinks, but I’m a naturally self-conscious person and I care about what people think of me and if they’re judging me or not. 🤷

Actually, i would venture to say he either remains neutral (that is maintains his level of respect for you), or his level of respect increases, as somebody who struggles over and over, yet actively seeks the love of God. Whatever the priest may think, Christ is always happy that you come back to Him.

i am always confessing sins of impatience and i have only been in the Church since easter. The priest will not think less of you, in fact maybe admire the fact that you care about pleasing God and are wanting to overcome your faults. Maybe…your priest suffers from the same problem. We all have our little niggling imperfections.
